With the arrival of the expedition the team shift into guard mode. During one night on guard duty they encounter a lethal species not native to Kypri. With some difficulty, they manage to overpower the beasts.

On another evening, the team are alerted to the advance of a squad of soldiers intent on killing everyone in the expedition. They manage to defeat them and find out, after some questioning of a lone survivor that Utopia Corp. has sent the assassins.

The expedition concludes and the team return to Trumpler 4.
