EXTREME COLD WEATHER OVER GARMENT
The ECWOG consists of a jacket and pants combination. These garments are capable of maintaining a comfortable body temperature in the harshest of atmospheric cold environments. They are equipped with a total body heating unit powered through the field uniform, and multiple zippered and hook & loop enclosed pockets, inside and out.
When issued as standard equipment, this item contains the Microfiber Sleeping Bag and the Insulated Field Gloves, both stored within large cargo pockets on the pants.
MICROFIBER SLEEPING BAG
INSULATED FIELD GLOVES
The microfiber, air heated sleeping bag is equipped with its own A type power supply. It is capable of maintaining an internal temperature of 65°F for up to 80 hours on a single charge. The outer skin of the bag is capable of altering its color along the basic 12 color spectrum with manually altered degrees of variation using an electronic ink system.
The Insulated Field Gloves are designed to protect the hands from external injury as well as extreme cold, while maintaining the desired degree of hand and finger dexterity. While capable of maintaining body heat for several hours simply relying on their construction, they can also be connected to the ECWOG to provide an extra degree of warmth for as long as power is maintained.
