HEAVY WEAPONS

Some weapons are simply too big to be comfortably used without a tripod, fixed support, or vehicle mounting. Others require specialized training in their use. The weapons on this page fall into one or both of these categories. 

Where Encumbrance is not listed, the weapon can only be used on a fixed support, a tripod, or a vehicle mount. Where the damage is shown with a #, these weapons are capable of using the "Suppressing Fire" rules. For the weapons with no magazine rating, the ammunition is supplied in a different manner, such as a belt feed or continuous power supply.

The Plasma and Rail Gun Turrets can swivel and elevate to fire in any direction above a horizontal plane. While the turrets are operated in a fixed position, they can be broken down, transported by vehicle and set up in a relatively short period of time. Their firing solution is controlled by a dedicated, specialized V.I. allowing them to be completely autonomous once operational.
