Iris and Mr. Smith....and Mr. Smith hatch a plan to spring Clarissa and Thisby from the joint (see Star Wars Episode 4). This works well enough to get them through the gate of the high security area.

Clarissa is summoned to a meeting with General Grigg, who instructs her to rejoin her "new team" and report on their activities. Meanwhile, Thisby is visited by Mr. Smith...no, not that Mr. Smith, or that one either. This is whole new Mr. Smith. He manages to take Thisby out of the holding cell and out of the facility. He marches him down the road, apparently at gunpoint.

So, as Iris and the Mr. Smiths enter the security area, they spot Thisby and a tall fellow headed towards the hangar area. They stop and inquire about their business. The 3rd Mr. Smith raises his visor and tells them he is helping Thisby escape. They climb in the truck and head for the hangar.

​

Not able to leave well enough alone, Mr. Smith, the real Mr. Smith tells the one in the back of the truck that he'll need to play hurt while the rest make their escape. Mr. Smith #3 doesn't seem to take to that idea and instead decides to fight him. They scuffle a bit, wherein Mr. Smith knocks #3 on his ass. The fight over, #3 lies down and the rest hightail it to the hanger.

During the scuffle, Clarissa, using the nifty little remote Grigg handed her, calls her ship to make a break for it, causing all sorts of commotion and distraction. The rest of the team take the opportunity to head for their ship. Once on board, with Mr. Smith #2 remaining outside, shooting his rifle in the air to add to the noise, Iris gets to the controls and lifts the ship off, heading straight for the stratosphere.

Miraculously, the Informal Measure makes escape velocity unhindered and leaves Hvelfiham behind. Thisby tries to contact Clarissa by sending a video message. After a short exchange, better forgotten, the two ships rendezvous and the reunited team agree to head for the Selos system, stopping over at O'Render to pick up a few things.

​

At O'Render, Thisby and the real Mr. Smith find a Church with an armory and gun up, while Iris requisitions some cash to get a makeover. After a week on planet, the group head for Selos 2.

​

The Pirani General of the Selos Protectorate, commanding the blockade, agrees to let the team store their second ship (the one with the nifty remote control) on her flagship while they "defect" to the rebellion on Selos 2. While "escaping" they fire on some random, innocent ships, killing one guy in a fighter and virtually destroying a free merchant class mess hall ship. After receiving 2 slices from a laser, the Informal Measure enters the atmosphere of Selos 2, escaping the Church blockade, just as a swarm of Selosian fighters engages the fleet behind them. 

​

They manage to crash land, rather gracefully and are immediately taken into custody by Selosian warriors. Arm cuffed and loaded into a truck, the team are taken down a very long passage, down, down, down until finally they are unloaded into a garage and a couple of non-military folks ask them why they came.

​
